DreamSpace Construction – Terms & Conditions

- Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern your relationship with DreamSpace Construction (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging us or accessing our website/services, you accept and agree to these T&Cs.
- Definitions & Interpretation
– “Client”, “you”, “your” refers to the person or entity commissioning us.
– “Contract” means the signed written agreement and these T&Cs.
– “Services” means construction and related services.
– “Site” means the location where Services are carried out.
– “NSW” refers to New South Wales, Australia.
- Scope of Work
We perform Services described in our contract/quote with reasonable care and according to NSW laws. Variations must be agreed in writing. You must provide timely access, decisions, and approvals.
- Quotes, Contracts & Commencement
Work begins only after required contracts are signed, deposits paid, and approvals obtained.
- Price & Payment
Payments must follow the schedule in the contract. Late payments may pause work. GST applies.
- Timeframes & Delays
We aim to complete work on time but timelines may extend due to weather, supply delays, or latent site conditions.
- Materials & Risk
Materials meet contract standards. If unavailable, alternatives may be agreed. Risk passes at practical completion.
- Licences & Warranties
We hold required NSW licences and insurances. Statutory warranties apply under NSW law.
- Defects
Notify defects in writing. We will repair defects caused by our work within a reasonable period.
- Termination
Contracts may terminate for material breach. You must pay for work completed to termination date.
- Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to the contract value except where law prohibits limitation.
- Intellectual Property
We retain IP in drawings unless otherwise agreed.
- Privacy
We collect and manage personal information per our Privacy Policy.
- Dispute Resolution
Disputes will first attempt informal resolution then mediation.
- Governing Law
These T&Cs follow NSW law.
